I'll say it wasn't. When you drown, your lungs feel like they are being squeezed by a colossal hand and even though they cannot hold much water, it feels like they have become heavier than your entire body. Let us not mention the brain-screaming panic. Luckily, you pass out not long after!

One of the advantages of being dead was never having to worry about such a thing.
