Well yeah, it's good to not be *clingy* but at the same time, in my world, we're taught that having someone special in your life can be like one half of your mind. They fill in the gaps and make up for your flaws and vice versa. Does that make sense?
But even then, I would still say that everyone needs a friend. Being alone does some weird things to you.
