[The text that hits the network from Ishimaru's device is surprisingly brief and to-the-point today; no video for now, though it's not because he's a broken mess this time, at least. Just at that weird point where he's exhausted and completely riled at the same time, so his body isn't really sure what it wants to do with itself.]

How do you hope that other people will remember you? Not necessarily after you die or anything, though you can answer for that, too.

It's nothing pressing; just something I've been thinking about today.

Whether you respond or not, I hope that today is a good and productive day, and if not, I hope that tomorrow will be better for you. Keep your head up.

[For those who are in the Dangan House today, Ishimaru can be found there; he's mostly looking after Parker while she's in her update coma, but he's not opposed to company.]

[Pekoyama only knows about this guy from hearsay, but the overall impression she's gotten from Kuzuryuu is that he's alright. It's still strange to think about talking to someone from the other class, but this post kind of hits home. Just a little.]

When you say "people," do you mean people in general? Or a smaller, more specific group? One's answer can change depending on just who is doing the remembering, in instances such as this.

[Ishimaru...honestly doesn't even have hearsay, because what is keeping up with these things. He's usually fairly distant with members of the other class; if they come to him, he won't ignore them, and he's weirdly fond of Kuzuryuu despite the feeling that he should probably not be fond of Kuzuryuu, but...

Basically, he doesn't recognize this one at all, so um. Hello, you complete and utter stranger, you.]

Either way! You can answer for both or either one; whichever you want.

I don't need to be remembered by most people at all.

Why do you ask? Is there a particular way you want to be remembered?

I don't know if there's a particular way I want to be remembered at this point - in some ways I'd be okay with just being remembered at all, but I'd hope it's in a good way, at least.

Why do you say you don't need to be, though?

So it does not matter who remembers you, as long as someone does?

I say I do not need to be remembered because I do not need to be remembered. As long as I have fulfilled my duty, that is enough.

What sort of duty are you fulfilling? If you don't mind, anyway.

[She doesn't respond immediately; part of it is that she's thinking over the idea of just being remembered by people as a whole, part of it is that she isn't sure how much Ishimaru's been told about where she's from or what she does. And even if it's common knowledge among her class, she's not quite so ready to just start broadcasting it.]

My duty is to protect someone. If that person remembers me, in the end, that is the only thing that I truly need.

I see - that makes sense. It's likely they will; people tend to remember things like that.

My experience has led me to believe that is the case.

Which was somewhat contrary to my expectations.

What would be a way in which you would like to be remembered?

...As having helped people, I think. As having made a difference for the better.

The knowledge that I helped them is enough! I find that more rewarding than anything they could give me in return.
